Are you a Born Again man or woman? Then, I implore you to recognize that God created you to succeed and to attain greatness in your lifetime. God specially made you never to live a timid and hopeless life. And it does not matter the social class of your birth or the geographic part of the world you grew up in. In fact, it is because of your seeming misfortune of social class, poor educational status or physical deformity that God, in Christ, predetermined to make you excel in life. 

One of the scriptural proofs – and there are several - of God’s master plan for your life of success can be  found in the book of Revelations 5: 9-

According to the prophet Isaiah (Isaiah, chapter 53) the sacrifice of our lord Jesus Christ on the Cross of Calvary was God’s master-strategy to save mankind and restore His dominion on earth. Hence, over the centuries, the message of the Cross had been for people to accept Jesus Christ as Lord and savior, repent and receive forgiveness of sins. Hence, the blood of Jesus Christ shed for the forgiveness of sins had being the theme of the salvation message. The message calls on people to become ‘Born Again’ - as the Lord instructed in John 3:3

The predominant reason why pastors in this age still threaten, cajole, ask and receive tithes from their congregation is because; tithe is the major source of meeting their convoluted needs. It is not because God asked us, the New Creation in Christ, to do so! In fact, if tithing is annulled from Christendom today, most churches would close shop. It is very wrong of us! Pastors should openly ask for welfare and project support, instead of lying in the name of Christ.
